Hey hey hey.. my is Katie, and welcome to my site! :) A 2008 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, I first really got into graphic design around 2006 when a friend was able to get me a copy of photoshop 7. At first it was just a fun thing to pass the time, but I soon began to take the creative process more seriously and it transformed from a casual hobby into more of a passion. In May 2007, I was hired as one of two graphic designer for my school paper, The Pitt News for my senior year. I also interned at Dorrance Publishing Company designing book covers, and, after I graduated, the East End's reused materials retailer Construction Junction, creating marketing materials and whatever else they needed.
